Laughter Yoga is a unique approach to fun, healing, and stress management. It’s a unique idea where anyone can laugh for no reason. Laughter Yoga is a technique that blends playful, empowering and “tension releasing” laughter exercises with Pranayama yoga breathing, which improves your sense of well-being. These exercises are simple, structured, and based on a philosophy of JOYFULNESS! There is no need for previous experience, special equipment or special clothing to practice the exercises.
Laughter is well known to be the “best medicine” and here’s why: it’s scientifically proven that laughter boosts the immune system, is a powerful cardio workout, relaxes your muscles and unwinds the negative effects of stress. Laughter also elevates your mood, increases blood circulation, releases endorphins which relieves pain, decreases anxiety, fights depression, improves communication skills, and social relationships.
With Laughter Yoga you maximize the benefits of laughter by sharing hearty, extended laughter with others in a safe, joyful environment
